How to set up guest verification

Updated over 2 weeks ago

  1. Hover your mouse pointer over the area next to the name of the group and click on Manage guest journey.

  2. Select Guest Verification.

Note:

You can create multiple verification settings, but you can only use one single template. The templates will automatically create multiple verification settings that are predefined.

Basic Verification

  • For Airbnb bookings, collect some information and make sure they agree to some house rules.

  • For non-Airbnb bookings, collect IDs to have them on file, get valuable guest data, and provide a seamless experience.

Enhanced Verification

  • For Airbnb Bookings:

    • Less Than 3 Days Lead Time: essential guest data collection, Autohost Fraud Detection, and clear house rules to avoid riskier guests.

    • Greater Than 3 Days Lead Time: more lenient but collect guest details and maintain a set of defined house rules.

  • For Non-Airbnb Bookings:

    • Essential guest data collection, Autohost Fraud Detection, and clear house rules to avoid riskier guests.

Enhanced Protection

  • For Airbnb Bookings:

    • Less Than 3 Days Lead Time: essential guest data collection, Autohost Fraud Detection, and clear house rules to avoid riskier guests.

    • Greater Than 3 Days Lead Time: more lenient for the guest considering Airbnb already collects IDs for the most part.

  • For Non-Airbnb Bookings:

    • Include a guarantee by Superhog and ID collection to protect your assets.

Advanced Verification

  • For Airbnb Bookings:

    • Less Than 3 Days Lead Time: essential guest data collection, Autohost Fraud Detection, and clear house rules.

    • Greater Than 3 Days Lead Time: collect essential data, present guidebooks and house rules to enhance their stay, all while maintaining a user-friendly verification experience.

  • For Non-Airbnb Bookings:

    • Less Than 3 Days Lead Time: Host with ease using Autohost Full Verification systems, all while providing a streamlined guest experience.

    • Greater Than 3 Days Lead Time: Streamline the process with essential guest data collection, Autohost Fraud Detection, and clear house rules.

Useful Conditions

  • 'Number of nights in Booking is greater or lesser than X': To segregate short-term vs. long-term bookings, you might need more information about the guest or have different agreements.

  • 'Booking created at is greater or lesser than X': Useful when transitioning to Enso Connect to segregate bookings confirmed before and after your switch to Enso Connect as bookings confirmed before your switch to Enso Connect might have already completed the fees, agreements, etc.
