Enso Connect conditions allow you to customize the automations based on certain known criteria. Some of these criteria are readily available in Enso Connect; however, some are pulled from the bookings or listing details in your PMS.
Conditions have three sections:
'When' - Event Trigger
'Only If' - Conditional Filters
'Then' - Action
Trigger (When)
A trigger is a specific time or event that initiates the execution of a condition.
Triggers can be either time-based or event-based.
Conditional Filters (Only If)
You have the ability to 'select multiple' and 'select none' when creating conditions, allowing for more flexibility when setting up your condition system.
Note:
You can combine different conditions to filter for your specific scenarios.
Action (Then)
Actions are automated messages that are sent when a condition is triggered. You can choose from these message types:
Airbnb Message: best used with the condition "IF Booking Channel is Airbnb."
SMS Message: available for all channels as long as your SMS is enabled in the account (additional charges do apply).
Email is available for all channels.
WhatsApp Message: requires WhatsApp setup, please contact support for more details.
Webhook Message: requires webhook setup.
OTA Message: for VRBO, Homeaway and Booking.com (for Guesty).
OTA Message: Booking.com for other PMS's.
Here are some common examples:
VERIFICATIONS:
Booking Channel Specific:
Most commonly used to distinguish between Airbnb and non-Airbnb bookings.
Can be used for any booking channel to specify exact requirements.
Booking created at date:
Excellent option when transitioning to Enso Connect.
Allows for simplified verification of bookings made before the Enso go-live date, while newer bookings can follow a more comprehensive verification process, eliminating the need to manually skip steps completed in other systems.
Listing Tags:
Ideal for maintaining listings in the same group while applying different settings based on specific house rules—whether for custom agreements, pet-related questions, or other unique requirements.
Number of Nights in Booking:
This is an effective way to create different verification processes for long-term versus short-term rentals, whether within the same group or across all listings.
Please note that our ‘less than/greater than’ operators are not ‘equal to’.
Total People Booked:
This lets you customize guest information collection based on the number of guests booked—particularly useful when you need to gather names of additional guests traveling with the main booker.
