Notify your guests when you receive and confirm their upsell request

To let your guests know that you have received their upsell request, set up an auto-message. Additionally, set an alert for when their request is confirmed or denied.

To inform the guest that the request has been received:

  1. Select the listing and click the Automated Messages tab

  2. Click ‘Add Experience’

  3. In the Automated Experience panel, update the name and ‘applies to’ sections

  4. Set the trigger to: When a guest requests an upsell that requires approval for ‘Any Upsell’. You can select a specific upsell as a trigger too

  5. Add the action with the custom message you’d like to send

  6. Click ‘Save’

  1. Select the listing and click the Automated Messages tab

  2. Click ‘Add Experience’

  3. In the Automated Experience panel, update the name and applies to sections

  4. Set the trigger to: When the host approves a guest upsell purchase for ‘Any Upsell’ or ‘Specific Upsell’

  5. Add the action with the custom message you’d like to send

  6. Click ‘Save’
