What kind of upsell messaging automations can I create?
You can build automations for two key moments:
When a guest requests an upsell (any upsell or a specific one)
When payment for an upsell is completed
What happens when a guest requests an upsell?
As soon as a guest submits a request, you can automatically send them a message before you take any manual action. This message can go out via Airbnb, SMS, email, WhatsApp, or OTA messaging, letting the guest know you received the request and will respond shortly.
This helps prevent messages like, “Did you get my upsell request?”
What about after the upsell is approved and paid for?
Once payment is captured, you can trigger a second automatic confirmation message to let the guest know their request (e.g., early check-in, an experience, or another upsell) was successful. Again, this message can be sent through any preferred channel.
How do I set up these upsell automations?

Create a new experience or message
Give it a name and toggle it on/off as needed
