How to set up check-in instructions

From the Guest Journey Editor

Step 1: Go to Listings (the second icon featuring a building).

Step 2: Hover your cursor over the right side of the listing group tab.

Step 3: Click Manage guest journey.

Step 4: Scroll down to check-in instructions.

Step 5: Click Check-in Instructions.

Step 6: Click Add Step.

Step 7: Click Create from scratch.

Step 8: Choose whether to add your upsell to all your listings, your current listing group, or this current listing.

❗ Note: By default, it is set to this listing.

Step 9: Add Condition.

Step 10: Upload an image related to the step by clicking Browse.

Step 11: Write the instructions explaining the photo.

πŸ’‘ Example: Step involving where to park once you reach the property

  • Photo: Parking space

  • Instructions: Please park in front of the garage.

Step 12: Add personalized text > Choose from the list of fields.

πŸ’‘ Example: Step involving how to enter the property

  • Photo: Property entrance/door

  • Instructions: Punch in <booking_reservation rently code> </aside>

βœ… Tip: It is advisable to enter the door code in the step related to accessing the property. Adding it in the initial step might lead them to assume they already know the code, causing them to skip subsequent instructions and potentially leading to confusion or getting lost.

Step 13: Click Save.


From the listing View

Step 1: Go to Listings (the second icon featuring a building).

Step 2: Select a property.

Step 3: Under Listing Information, select Check-in & Check-out.

Step 4: Enter Check-in & checkout times.

Step 5: Under Check-in information, click Add step.

Step 6: Click Create from scratch.

Step 7: Choose whether to add your upsell to all your listings, your current listing group, or this current listing.

❗ Note: By default, it is set to this listing.

Step 8: Add Condition.

Step 9: Upload an image related to the step by clicking Browse.

Step 10: Write the instructions explaining the photo.
