How does guest verification work?
Updated over 11 months ago

The guest verification happens in the Boarding Pass. You can decide when you would like to make the guest complete their verification settings, but we highly recommend that you send the Boarding Pass at booking confirmation and require the guest to complete this information.

You can word your booking confirmation message with more aggressive wording, such as: “We require you to complete this information to confirm your reservation”, or more passive wording: “Please complete this information ahead of your check-in date, so we can personalize your stay”.

Either-way you should mention to the guest that in order for them to access their check-in instructions they will be required to complete the following steps.

For guests

Guests will receive their boarding pass and navigate the verification settings.

For you

There are four steps you can configure that will determine whether a guest is verified or not.

  • Enter details - Data Collection

  • ID Upload

  • Agreement

  • Fees (fees are set up in a different section which you can find here):

In this first step of setting up Verification, we will only be looking at Enter Details - Data Collection, ID Upload, and Agreements.

⚠️ Not all steps are mandatory! You can decide how you want to configure these steps based on your unique settings. You can have multiple configurations of verification settings based on different conditions being met. More to be explained below.
