You’re not alone. These repetitive messages are common—and totally avoidable. With just two easy automated steps in Enso Connect, you can eliminate 90% of these guest questions.

What’s Step One to automate check-in communication?
Provide the instructions ahead of time.
Here’s how:

  1. In your Enso Connect Guest Journey, add a new workflow and click Create from Scratch.

  2. Set the trigger to “7 days before check-in” and assign it to your listing.

  3. Add a condition — for example, “If channel is Airbnb.”

  4. Add a message and select Airbnb message.

  5. Customize the message:

    • Use personalization like:
      “Hi <guest_first_name>, we look forward to hosting you!”

    • Include the boarding pass link to guide them to everything they need:
      “As a reminder, make sure to check out your boarding pass here: <keycard_link>”

  6. Hit Done, turn it On, and click Save.

(If you're using VRBO or another OTA, repeat this same process with a slightly different condition.)

What’s Step Two?
Send a reminder one day before arrival.
Here’s how:

  1. Add another workflow, again clicking Create from Scratch.

  2. Set the trigger to “1 day before check-in.”

  3. Add the same Airbnb condition (or whichever OTA you’re targeting).

  4. Create a message like:

    • “Hi <guest_first_name>, just a quick reminder that your check-in time is tomorrow at <checkin_time>.”

    • “If you’d like to upgrade to early check-in or late check-out, check out your options in the boarding pass: <keycard_link>”

  5. Hit Done, turn it On, and click Save.

Now, you’ve got two touchpoints:

  • One message sent 7 days before arrival,

  • And another reminder the day before check-in.
