Guests will be able to see upsells after they’ve been verified, or before guest verification, depending on the settings you’ve set up in your Guest Verification section.
The visibility of upsells can also depends on other factors such as:
Booking Check-in Date: The system uses the official check-in date to determine when Early Check In and Late Check Out upsells should be available. For example, even if a guest checks in earlier, the Late Check Out upsell won’t be visible until the scheduled check-in date.
Stripe Account Status: Any restrictions on your connected Stripe account, like incomplete information or unresolved account issues, can impact upsell visibility. Ensure your Stripe account is in good standing!
Additionally, after an upsell becomes visible and is approved, successful payment processing is required:
Guests may need to complete specific payment-related actions such as 3DS. Missing these steps can prevent the transaction from going through.
Payment failures may occur if there are insufficient funds in the chosen method of payment. Advising guests to check their balance can mitigate these issues.
