Adding Translated Check-in and Check-out Instructions

Updated over 3 weeks ago

A smooth guest experience requires several elements working together, and one crucial aspect is providing guests with the right information at the right moment. Here's how you can provide translated check-in and check-out instructions based on your guest's language!

Before following the steps below, prepare translations of your instructions in all languages you want to make available. We recommend translating instructions for your five most common guest languages.

  1. Go to the Listings tab in Enso and select the specific listing that you would like to translate check-in and check-out instructions for.

  2. Select Check-in & Check-out instructions.

  3. Select the dropdown menu that shows your default language: English. Scroll through the list and select the language that you would like to translate your check-in and check-out instructions into.

  4. Add in the translated step and click save. Continue translating the check-in and check-out instructions one step at a time.

  5. Repeat these steps for any other listings you would like to translate the check-in and check-out instructions for as well as any additional languages you would like to translate your check-in and check-out instructions into.

Guests will see the translated instructions in the language they choose in their Boarding Pass as long as it has a translated version.

Pre-requisite:

Please make sure to add 'Guest Language' as a field in your Guest Information Collection step so you have your guests preferred language saved in Enso.

Note:

  • If a guest selects a language without an available translation, the Boarding Pass instructions will default to English.

  • The translated instructions appear automatically without requiring additional configuration.

  • The main information in the Boarding Pass interface is available in English, French, German, and Spanish. For all other languages, the Boarding Pass interface will display in English, while any available translated instructions will still show in the guest's selected language.

Now you should be able to translate your check-in and check-out instructions into a guest’s preferred language in order to provide them with the information they need!
