What is authority reporting, and why is it important?
Today, we're super excited to show authority reporting. This is a fairly important subject for certain countries—relevant to Spain, Italy, Portugal, Colombia, Dubai—really any place that requires you to collect information about your guests and send it to local authorities in order to comply with local regulations.
How do I set up authority reporting in Enso Connect?
This is a really simple process: all you need to do is go to your default verification settings, or any of your verification settings (hopefully specific to the location where you're managing those properties), go to the ID collection section, and then go to Chekin authority reporting to enable it. Then, go to the specific listing > Policies & Custom Fields > See Chekin details, and set up your authority connection.
How does Chekin work with Enso Connect for authority reporting?
We've embedded Chekin as part of our process, and you can now send guest data automatically to local authorities, as well as collect information for multiple guests. This is a premium add-on, but it will effectively automate a whole cycle of your business for you in a matter of seconds.
