Encourage guests to complete the check-in process with a reminder step to click “I’m In”

Updated this week

The check-in instructions will not appear in the boarding pass until the guest has finished the verification procedure. In order to increase the likelihood that guests carefully review the check-in instructions, you can add a automessage reminder to click the "I'm In" button.

Here’s how you can do just that!

You can include the following step in your check-in procedure:

  1. On your Guest Journey editor, then select Check-in Automessages.

  2. Create a new Automessage from scratch.

  3. Set the Automessage to send around the check-in time. In the example, we used 1 hours after the check-in time but this can be customized.

  4. Save the Automessage.

Alternatively, you could also add another step in your check-in instructions reminding the guests to click the button on the last page.

  1. On your Guest Journey editor, then select 'Check-in and Check-out Instructions'.

  2. Click ‘Add step’ button and select ‘Create from scratch’

  3. Update the Connected Listing section based on how you'd like this instruction to be added across your listings

  4. Add a picture to the header

  5. Include the reminder text to click the “I’m In” button in the instruction section.
